Happy to have participated in yesterday’s Federal Executive of Connecticut presentation focused on Workforce Engagement.
Heather Brown McHughe presented the very timely topic titled Strategies for Fostering Engagement & Employee Driven Innovation.
During the presentation we learned that actions of a successful organizational culture: Builds Safety, Builds Belonging, Uses Appreciative Inquiry, Connects People to the Purpose, Shares Vulnerability & Builds Trust, Manages Conflict Constructively, and Creates Peak Performing Teams.
We also discussed Levers for Evolving Culture, Pros and Cons of Cultural Styles in Government, Effective Messaging, and How to Identify Organizational Paradigm Shifts.
The presentation was excellent to help organizations realize the benefits of employee engagement, and foster that environment with actionable steps we can take NOW.
